WHAT IS THE LEGACY PROEJCT?

Founded in loving memory of Seamus Gee, who passed away unexpectedly in October 2019 at the age of 16, the Seamus Gee Legacy Project is dedicated to empowering youth and families in our community. Inspired by Seamus’ spirit and vision, we support programs that foster resilience, mental well-being, and opportunity.

We proudly partner with organizations like Foundry Langley, which provides free, confidential access to mental health care, substance use support, primary care, peer counseling, and social services for youth and their families.

In honor of Seamus’ passion for hands-on work and helping others, we offer annual bursaries for high school students pursuing careers in the trades, as well as scholarships for graduating trades students.

Through continued fundraising and community support, we are committed to creating lasting, positive change—carrying Seamus’ legacy forward by helping others grow, thrive, and build a brighter future. We also continue to explore new initiatives that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in our community.
